About

Anterior impingement is a condition where there is pain in the front of your ankle towards the end range of motion as you bring your shin over your toes, known as dorsi flexion. This can lead to pain, inflammation, and potential limitations in movement due to compression of the joint and associated soft tissues. The impingement could be due to functional restrictions to the ankle joint, abnormal bony deformities to the ankle, or a combination of both. The Heal My Injury Treatment Plan aims to decrease this contact by improving ankle function, mobility and reducing inflammation.
