About

Degeneration of the shoulder is due to a breakdown of the cartilage that lines the ends of the bones. This cartilage acts as a shock absorber and prevent friction between the surfaces, and as it breaks down it causes swelling and can lead to osteoarthritis. Osteoarthritis is when the bony surfaces start to lay down extra bone into the area, leading to further pain, swelling and loss of range of motion. While it not possible to reverse this cycle, The Heal My Injury Treatment Plan has been prescribed to slow down the process, improve range of motion and reduce pain.
