About

Subacromial Impingement is a condition where the tissues between a bone called the acromion and the head of your humerus become compressed and inflamed. These tissues are typically the rotator cuff tendons or the bursa (a lubricating sac of fluid to prevent friction). This leads to pain, discomfort and potential limitations in movement. The Heal My Injury Treatment Plan aims to decrease this pressure by reducing inflammation and improving shoulder mobility. If the tendon has any potentially strain on it leading to pain, it is important to place gentle loads through it to aid recovery as rest alone does not help tendons to recover.
