Osteitis Pubis

Osteitis pubis is a condition where there is inflammation present in the joint and surrounding tissues at the front of the pelvis, known as the pubic symphysis. The joint is held together by small ligaments and each pubis bone is lined with cartilage, and these can become weakened and inflamed leading to pain and causing stress on the surrounding tissues. The most important thing is to get the inflammation under control and allow the soft tissues to heal.
