About

Piriformis syndrome is a condition where a muscle in your buttock, known as the piriformis, becomes under significant tension and starts to compress the sciatic nerve as it passes beneath the muscle. When this occurs, symptoms in your leg can include weakness and sensations such as sharp, shooting or aching pains, numbness, pins and needles or tingling. The Heal My Injury Treatment Plan has been designed to reduce tension through the piriformis muscle and improve function through the hip, back and leg.
